Taco Soup (Souper Easy)

So... I am not big on using or following recipes. I kind of pulled bits and pieces from a few different sources and then went from there.  But I think the following is just about what I did to make it.  And yes the ranch dressing packet seams weird... but I really think it gave the soup a little kick.

2 lbs of ground turkey (you can use ground beef.  we just are not big on red meat around here)

2 small onions finely diced

4 cloves of garlic minced

1 can of diced green chilies

3 cans of diced tomatoes

2 packets of taco seasoning

1 packet of ranch dressing mix

1 can of kidney beans (drained)

1 can of black beans (drained)

1 can of pinto beans (drained)

1 can of garbanzo beans (drained)

1 can of corn (drained)

2-3 cups of water

Brown the meat, then add the onions and garlic.  Saute all that until the onions are soft.  Add all the other ingredients.  Bring to a boil, reduce heat to medium/low, cover and cook for about an hour.

Serve over crumbled tortilla chips. Top with sour cream, cheese, olives, or whatever you like!
